Apple Motion templates FCP & Motion

You can use Apple Motion and Final Cut Pro X on your computer with Mac. It is not available for Windows or Linux.

Open a provided project file on a computer with Apple Motion or Final Cut Pro X already installed. Instead of designing moving images from scratch, you can create videos rather easily by placing your own audiovisual assets in the designated timelines or tracks of the project.

All Apple Motion templates can be opened by Final Cut Pro X. However, not all of them can be edited in it. Whether a template is editable in Final Cut Pro X or not is marked as “Editable in FCPX” on the product page. On the other hand, all Apple Motion templates are editable in Apple Motion.

Royalty-free describes intellectual property that can be used without having to pay royalties. Once a one-time fee is paid for a royalty-free license, the buyer is free to use it without having to pay recurring fees to the intellectual property owner.

While a royalty-free license gives a person the right to use it, the intellectual property still belongs to the original owner. Anyone who buys a royalty-free license is entitled to use the same content. In other words, royalty-free content is not exclusive.

However, there are many perks of using royalty-free content. A buyer does not need to attribute the owner and each content can be used as many times as desired in as many projects as possible.

Final Cut Pro X is a video-editing software developed by Apple Inc. It is suitable for editing longer footage with rather simpler techniques (e.g., cutting, inserting other assets, adding music), compared to Apple Motion which is designed to composite graphics and visual effects.
